A Letter from the Author

Since taking a black and white photography class my freshman year of college I have been obsessed with documenting through photography. Over the past five years I have traveled across the United States and around the world through my military service and have had the opportunity to see some incredible places. I built this website so that I can share those experiences with friends, family, and anyone who loves photography. I have shot with insta-cameras, smartphones, handhelds, DSLR’s, and 35mm. For a long time I shot 35mm with my grandmothers Cannon AE-1, today I mostly shot digital with my Cannon Rebel XSI. I know that some people think that you need a $3,000 rig to make great photos, but I can prove to you that a humble used $150.00 rig can produce great work.

Happy viewing!

“Somewhere deep in a wood there lived a little brown bear. This bear was only just a cub and his name was Thort. Now Thort lived in a little woods near the foot of the great mountians. From his den he could see a great lake and off in the distance the peak of kazadom.”
